Would that really make so much sense today? I read that sea freight is getting slightly too expensive these days. So, it gets replaced with other modes of transport that, apparently, prove way more effective.
You would be correct if we were reviewing deepsea services, however short sea services in Europe are more cost effective and a greener option than any other service available at this time.
