As part of the recent IIFA Annual General Meeting, the EFL team had the opportunity to visit Dublin Port and gain a closer look at the vital role it plays in keeping Ireland connected to global trade.
The visit provided valuable insight into the scale of the port's
operations, ongoing infrastructure developments, and investments being made to
support future growth. It was particularly encouraging to learn more about
Dublin Port's sustainability initiatives, including efforts to improve energy
efficiency, reduce emissions, and deliver more environmentally responsible
operations.
Discussions also focused on the evolving logistics landscape, including
post-Brexit trade developments and the growing importance of direct European
shipping services. These conversations reinforced the value of collaboration
across the supply chain and the importance of efficient, resilient logistics
networks.
At EFL, we are committed to staying informed on industry developments
and working closely with our partners to provide secure, compliant, and
sustainable logistics solutions. Visits such as this offer valuable
opportunities to learn, collaborate, and better support our customers' supply
chain needs.
